Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Remove the intercooler outlet hose.
  4. Disconnect the ETC module connector (A) and separate vapor hose (B).
  5. Separate the coolant hoses (C).
  6. Remove the ETC module (D) mounting bolts.

    Tightening toque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
