Repair Procedures: Inspection

Information 

• Transfer oil should be inspected and refilled every 60000 km (40000 mile)/4 year.

1. Remove the under cover.

   (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

2. Remove the oil filler plug (A).

3. Check the oil level.

   Information 

   • Oil level must be up to fill the hole, if not, add oil until it runs over.

4. Install the oil filler plug with new gasket.

   Tightening torque: 

   39.2 - 58.8 N.m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb-ft)

5. Install the under cover.

   (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
