Repair Procedures: Removal

NOTE: If DTC code B24B0 exists, perform power liftgate mode change.
(Refer to Power Liftgate System - " TROUBLESHOOTING ")

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the left luggage side trim.
(Refer to Body - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")
Disconnect the power liftgate module connectors (A).

Remove the power liftgate module (A) by loosening the nuts.
Tightening torque:

6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.10 kgf.m, 5.08 - 7.96 lb.ft)
