Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")

  2. Remove the HSG.

    (Refer to Hybrid Motor System - "HYBRID STARTER GENERATOR ")

  3. Remove the knock sensor connector (A) by pulling it in the direction of arrow.

  4. Remove the knock sensor (A) after removing the mounting bolt.

    Tightening torque: 

    19.0 - 24.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.5 kgf.m, 13.8 - 18.1 lb.ft)
