Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the intake manifold.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")

  2. Remove the Injector connector (A).

  3. Disconnect the Oil Pressure & Oil Temperature Sensor (OPTS) connector (A).

  4. Remove the Knock Sensor (KS) after removing the mounting bolt (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb.ft)
