Wheel Alignment Repair Procedures
- When using the wheel alignment tester to check the wheel alignment align the lift's vehicles horizontally.
- Set the transmission gear to 'N'.
- Inflate the 4 tires to the specified tire pressure.TIRE PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS
Tire Size Tire Pressure [kPa (psi)] 255/60 R19 260 (38) 275/50 R20 285/45 R21 - Check the steering wheel and tires aligning straight.
- Hold the brake pedal depressed using a pedal stopper.
- Measure the ride height, which is the distance from the end of the fender to the center of the wheel.
Ride Height :
Front (A): 18.26 - 19.05 in. (464.0 - 484.0 mm)
Rear (B): 19.27 in. (489.5 mm)
- Adjust the alignment to the specification.
(Refer to Alignment - " ADJUSTMENT ")
NOTE: Make sure to adjust the rear alignment first with curb weight and then adjust the front alignment by referring to the thrust angle. - After adjusting, shake the vehicle and check if the alignment value returns.NOTE: If the value changes significantly, check the suspension for free play or bushing damage and wear.
- Perform the order below with the KDS.
