Throttle Position Sensor

NOTE: Throttle Position (TP) sensor is not adjustable. For testing procedures, see SELF-DIAGNOSTICS or SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article. Throttle Position (TP) sensor operating range is 0.8-5 volts. If TP sensor should fail, Engine Control Module (ECM) will default to a value of 5.76 volts and set the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL).
