Hydraulic System Pressure Test: Notes
NOTE:
Excessive pressure in power steering hydraulic system is usually caused by a faulty power steering pump relief valve. Insufficient pressure can be caused by low power steering fluid level or a slipping drive belt. In addition, insufficient pressure can be caused by hydraulic system leaks, faulty power steering relief valve, faulty power steering box valve and worm assembly, leak at power steering box piston, and worn components in power steering pump or box.
