2-Wheel Dynamometer

ABS will not function on a 2-wheel dynamometer. ABS warning light will illuminate during testing. Normal braking will be available. For brake testing, use 4-wheel dynamometer if possible. If brake testing on 2-wheel dynamometer is necessary, remove drive shaft to rear axle and put transmission and transfer box in neutral gear. If checking engine performance on 2-wheel dynamometer, remove drive shaft to stationary axle and put transfer box on high range.
