Advance Components

Ignition timing and advance are electronically controlled by engine ECU based on inputs from throttle position sensor, crank and cam angle sensors (or pick-ups), engine RPM sensor, etc.

An ignitor sends an ignition signal (controlled by ECU) to coil, interrupting primary current and generating ignition spark at correct time as calculated by ECU.
