Master Cylinder

NOTE: If the master cylinder has been disassembled or if the reservoir becomes empty, bleed the air from the master cylinder.
  1. Remove air cleaner assembly with hose.
  2. Disconnect brake lines from master cylinder with special tool (09023-00100).
  3. Slowly depress brake pedal and hold it.
  4. Block off outer holes with your fingers and release the brake pedal.
  5. Repeat  3 and  4 several times.
  6. Connect brake lines and install air cleaner assembly with hose. Bleed brake lines. See BRAKE LINE .
  7. Check fluid level in reservoir and add fluid if necessary.
