Steering Sensor: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure front wheels are in straight ahead position.
  2. Tighten steering wheel assembly to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Tighten horn button assembly to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Inspect SRS warning light. See DIAGNOSTIC TESTS article AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS.
  5. Perform steering angle sensor zero point calibration.
