VVT Sensor: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the MAF meter connector.
    2. Remove the 2 clips, hose clamp and air cleaner cap.

    3. Remove the element from the air cleaner case.
    4. Remove the 2 nuts, clip and air cleaner case.

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the MAF meter connector.
    2. Remove the 2 clips, hose clamp and air cleaner cap.
    3. Remove the element from the air cleaner case.

    4. Remove the 2 nuts, clip and air cleaner case.

  6. REMOVE VVT SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the 4 VVT sensors.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 VVT sensors.
