Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See REPLACEMENT )
  5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT )
  6. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
    2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
