Rear Console Box: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and armrest.

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER 
    1. Remove the console box as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX WIRE 
    1. Disengage the clamp.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the console box wire.

  4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the console box illumination light assembly.
  5. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )

  6. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the socket cover.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  7. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY  (See STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY )
  8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX NO. 5 MOUNTING BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
