Rear Power Window Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (UP) - 5 (GND) Manual up operation Below 1 Ω
      10 (DOWN) - 5 (GND) Manual down operation Below 1 Ω
      4 (AUTO) - 5 (GND) Auto up/down operation Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

    2. Check that the LED illuminates.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the regulator switch and check that the LED illuminates

        OK 

        CONDITION CHART

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → 8 (LED)
        Battery negative (-) → 5 (GND)        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly
