Electronic Control Assembly

The ECA is the "brain" of the EEC system. It is a solid-state, pre-programmed micro-computer, consisting of a processor assembly and a calibration assembly. The ECA is located under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column on Ford, Mercury, Continental and Mark VI models. ECA is located under the passenger seat on Mustang, Capri, Fairmont, Zephyr, Thunderbird and Cougar models.
