Remote Power Window Switch

NOTE: Remote power window switches contain relays. To test switch functions, connect one end of a jumper wire to terminal C2-3 and the other end to battery voltage. Connect one end of a second jumper wire to ground and the other end to terminal C1-4.

Remove remote power window switch from door. See, under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION, POWER WINDOW SWITCH  . Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between indicated terminals with switch in appropriate position. See Fig 1 . See POWER WINDOW REMOTE SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table. If continuity is not as specified, replace power window switch(es).

(1) Circuit is continuous through relay coils.
