Retrieving Codes

Before beginning testing, retrieve any existing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST in MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. Make any repairs that may be indicated. If no applicable DTCs exist, go to appropriate symptom related test. Any DTC beginning with letter "U" originated from another module, see MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article.
