Bleeding System Using NGS Scan Tool

  1. This procedure is used to bleed the brake pressure control valve block. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) Scan Tool (007-00500) to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on.
  2. Enter vehicle identification information. Select DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK from menu selection. Select ABS MODULE, then go to FUNCTION TEST, then enter SERVICE BLEED. Follow scan tester instructions until SERVICE BLEED PROCEDURE COMPLETE message is displayed.
