Test F: Driver Seat Module Does Not Respond

  1. Disconnect Gray 16-pin harness connector C212 (located behind left side kick panel). Measure resistance by backprobing between driver's seat module 22-pin connector C313 (located under driver's seat) terminal No. 22 (Light Blue/White wire) and female side of 16-pin harness connector C212 terminal No. 4. See Figure. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Light Blue/White wire. Reconnect connectors. Repeat DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS  under COMMUNICATION NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS.
  2. Disconnect driver's seat module 22-pin connector C313. Inspect driver's seat module 22-pin connector C313 terminal No. 22 (Light Blue/White wire) and wire connection. If terminal and wire connection are okay, go to next step. If terminal and/or wire connection are damaged, repair as necessary. Reconnect connectors. Repeat DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS  under COMMUNICATION NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS.
  3. Inspect driver's seat module terminals. If terminals are okay, replace driver's seat module. If terminal(s) are damaged, repair as necessary. Reconnect connectors. Repeat DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS  under COMMUNICATION NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS.
