Master Switch

  1. Remove master power window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Connect one lead of an ohmmeter or the ground lead of a self-powered test light to terminal No. 3 of power window master switch. See Fig 1 . With all master switches in NEUTRAL position, continuity should exist between terminal No. 3 and terminals No. 4 through 11. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified. If continuity is as specified, go to next step.
  2. Check specified switch terminals for continuity while exercising switch as indicated. See MASTER SWITCH TEST TABLE. If continuity is not as specified, replace master window switch and retest system.
