All Power Windows Inoperative
- Power Window Function Test - Turn ignition on. Test all windows. If all power windows operate, system is functioning normally. If any window fails to operate, go to next step.
- Check Master Switch Connector Light Blue/Black Wire - Remove and disconnect master switch. Measure voltage between ground and Light Blue/Black wire terminal at master switch connector. If battery voltage is present, go to step 7). If battery voltage is not present, go to next step.
- Check Window Regulator Safety Relay - Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage at relay connector Light Blue/Black wire terminal. See WIRING DIAGRAM . If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, go to step 6).
- Check Power To Window Regulator Safety Relay - Measure voltage at both relay connector Yellow/Light Green wire terminals. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Yellow/Light Green wire between engine compartment fuse block and window regulator safety relay.
- Check Pink Wire - Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect window regulator safety relay connector. Measure resistance between ground and Pink wire terminal at relay connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Pink wire between window regulator safety relay and lighting control module. If Pink wire is okay, check lighting control module ground connections. See GROUND DISTRIBUTION article in WIRING DIAGRAMS.
- Check Yellow/Light Green Wire For Short To Ground - Remove 30-amp circuit breaker "F" from engine compartment fuse block. Measure resistance between output side of 30-amp circuit breaker "F" (Yellow/Light Green wire) and ground. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, repair open in Yellow/Light Green wire and retest. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Yellow/Light Green wire and retest.
- Check Ground Circuit - Measure resistance between ground and Black wire terminal at master switch connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace window regulator safety relay and retest. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire and retest.
