Trouble Shooting

Check the following items before proceeding with testing:

Check battery for state of charge.
Check cable connections at battery and starter motor.
Ensure transmission is fully engaged in Park or Neutral.
Check fuses No. 20 (50-amp) and No. 21 (50-amp) in power distribution box in engine compartment.
On models equipped anti-theft system, ensure anti-theft system is operating properly (horn sounds, lights flash, etc.) See ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM - PASSIVE article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT for additional information.
