Trouble Shooting

Verify the customer concern by operating the starting system to duplicate the condition. Check battery for state of charge. Check cable connections at battery and starter motor. Ensure transmission is fully engaged in Park or Neutral. Check fuse No. 4m (40-amp) in Central Junction Box (CJB). Check fuse No. 23 (10-amp) in CJB. Check starter relay in Battery Junction Box (BJB). See STARTER RELAY  under COMPONENT TESTS. If problem is found, repair as necessary. If problem is not found, repair by symptom.
