Engine Compression
Check compression pressure with engine at normal operating temperature, spark plugs removed, throttle valve wide open and engine at cranking speed (300 RPM). Crank engine until maximum pressure is reached at each cylinder. Compression is normal if lowest cylinder reading is at least 75% of highest reading.
