Valve Clearance

Start and run engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Remove valve cover. Set No. 1 cylinder at TDC of compression stroke. Check clearance of intake valves on cylinders No. 1 and 2 and of exhaust valves on cylinders No. 1 and 3. Turn the crankshaft 1 full turn so that cylinder No. 4 is at TDC of compression stroke. Check clearance of intake valves on cylinders No. 3 and 4 and of exhaust valves on cylinders 2 and 4.
