No. 2 Air Control Valve (Federal Only)

  1. Warm up engine to normal operating temperature. Remove air cleaner and element. Set engine speed at 1500 RPM. Place a piece of paper over the No. 2 ACV inlet port and check that no air is sucked in.
  2. Ground the Green/Blue terminal of the 3-way solenoid valve with a jumper wire. Check that air is sucked into the valve. DO NOT ground the Black/White terminal. See Fig 1 .
