EGR Modulator Valve

  1. The EGR modulator valve is located on the intake manifold. Disconnect the EGR control valve-to-modulator valve hose (Red stripe) at the modulator valve.
  2. Warm engine to operating temperature. Increase engine speed to 2000 RPM. Vacuum should be present at the modulator port. If not, replace the valve.
