ACV Solenoid Valve

  1. The ACV solenoid valve is located on the firewall behind carburetor. Solenoid valve controls vacuum signal to ACV when energized by control unit at idle.
  2. Blow air through port "A" and verify that it exhausts through port "B". Unplug connector, apply battery voltage to terminal with Yellow/Black wire and ground terminal with Light Green wire. See Fig 1 .

  3. Blow air through port "A" of solenoid valve and verify that it exhausts out through valve air filter.
