Air Control Valves

The air control valves are part of the air injection system. They help govern flow of secondary air to reed valves in air cleaner.

An air control valve is used on Federal models only. It controls flow of secondary air to exhaust manifold, upstream of front catalytic converter. It is controlled by ACV solenoid which in turn is governed by the ECU.
