Inspection Procedure

NOTE: To check operation of System Checker 83, ensure that the lamp illuminates for approximately 3 seconds after ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position. If more than one malfunction exists, the indication will be for the lower code number first.

Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Connect System Checker 83 to the check connector. See Fig 1 .
Check that the trouble indicator lamp illuminates. If lamp illuminates, compare the illumination pattern to those in Figure .
