No. 1 Purge Control Valve
Remove hoses from charcoal canister. Attempt to blow through intake manifold port. Air should not pass. Attach vacuum pump/gauge to top port of purge control valve. Apply 4.3 in. Hg and blow through intake manifold port again. Air should flow through port if valve is working properly. See Figure .
