Feedback Carburetor System - 2.0L: Description
The Mazda Feedback Carburetor (FBC) computerized engine control system monitors various engine/vehicle functions to control engine operation and lower emissions while maintaining good fuel economy and driveability. A control unit, after receiving inputs from various sensors and switches, controls air/fuel ratio through a mixture solenoid. The control unit varies the solenoid dwell or duty cycle to maintain proper air/fuel ratio.
