Checking Control Unit
Connect multimeter or Megameter to control unit. See Figure for control unit location. Turn ignition on and measure voltage at each terminal. DO NOT start engine. See Fig 1 for terminal voltages. If voltages are okay, check related circuit for open or short. If voltages are not okay, replace control unit.
