3-Way Solenoid Valve: B2200

NOTE: The 3-way solenoid valve is located at the opposite end of vacuum hose connected to the servo diaphragm.
  1. Start engine and run at idle. Disconnect the vacuum hose at the servo diaphragm. Ensure that no vacuum is being drawn through the vacuum hose. Turn the A/C switch to the "ON" position and blower switch to "HIGH" position.
  2. Ensure that vacuum is being drawn through the vacuum hose. If test is incorrect, use a circuit tester and check 3-way solenoid valve current. Replace 3-way solenoid valve if found defective.
