Coolant Temperature Switch

  1. Remove coolant temperature switch from radiator. Place switch in water with a thermometer. Heat water gradually.
  2. Using an ohmmeter on the coolant temperature switch, check the temperature at which continuity exists between both terminals in the connector. Continuity should exist when coolant temperature reaches 59-66°.
