Idle Switch: B2200

  1. Bring engine to normal operating temperature and run at idle. Connect a voltmeter to the Light Green/Black wire of the idle switch connector. See Fig 1 .

  2. Increase engine speed to 2500 RPM. Observe voltmeter. Gradually decelerate engine. Voltage reading should be below 1.5 volts above 1200 RPM and 12 volts at idle. If readings are not within specifications, adjust the idle switch screw.
