Dual Servo Diaphragm

  1. Ensure all accessories are off and connect a tachometer. Bring engine to normal operating temperature and run at idle. Disconnect vacuum hose from port "A". Connect intake vacuum directly to port "A" and check idle RPM. Engine speed should be 1300-1500 RPM. See Fig 1 . If RPM is not within specifications, adjust by turning servo diaphragm adjusting screw.

  2. Reconnect vacuum hose to port "A". Disconnect vacuum hose from port "B" and connect direct intake vacuum to port "B" and check idle RPM. Engine speed should be 920-970 RPM. If idle speed is not within specifications, adjust by turning adjusting screw on diaphragm. See Fig 1 .
