Throttle Sensor

  1. On turbo models, remove intercooler. On all models, remove sensor connector. Connect ohmmeter to terminals "A" and "B". See Fig 1 . Open throttle valve and note resistance readings.
  2. On non-turbo models, repeat procedure on terminals "A" and "C". Resistance readings must be within specification. See THROTTLE SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. Install sensor connector. On turbo models, reinstall intercooler.

A & B - Idle Position 1
A & B - Fully Open 4-6
A & C (Non-Turbo Only) - Idle Position 4-6
A & C (Non-Turbo Only) - Fully Open 4-6
