Turbo Control System

  1. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Shut engine off. Start engine and note if turbo actuator rod moves. On vehicles with Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS), it may be necessary to move air control valve and air silencer toward engine to gain access to actuator rod.
  2. Disconnect Green turbo solenoid valve connector. Actuator rod should return. Reinstall valve connector. Increase engine speed and note that actuator rod starts to move at approximately 2700 RPM.
