Dashpot Adjustment

Warm engine to normal operating temperature and attach tachometer. Increase engine speed to 4000 RPM and slowly decrease engine speed while observing dashpot rod. Rod should contact throttle lever at specified RPM. See DASHPOT SPECIFICATIONS table. If necessary, loosen dashpot lock nut and adjust dashpot to correct position. Tighten lock nut and retest.
