Motor Relay
NOTE:
Motor relay is part of ABS relay. If motor relay is defective, replace ABS relay.
- ABS relay is located in left side of engine compartment, under cruise control actuator, near battery. Turn ignition off. Remove ABS relay.
- Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between ABS relay terminals "e" and "h", or between ABS relay terminals "a" and "h". See Figure . Resistance should be 50-90 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace ABS relay. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
- Check for continuity between ABS relay terminals "b" and "f". If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, replace ABS relay.
- Apply 12 volts to ABS relay terminal "g" and ground ABS relay terminal "h". See Figure . Check for continuity between ABS relay terminals "b" and "f". Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace ABS relay.
