Motor Relay

NOTE: Motor relay is part of ABS relay. If motor relay is defective, replace ABS relay.
  1. ABS relay is located in left side of engine compartment, under cruise control actuator, near battery. Turn ignition off. Remove ABS relay.
  2. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between ABS relay terminals "e" and "h", or between ABS relay terminals "a" and "h". See Figure . Resistance should be 50-90 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace ABS relay. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
  3. Check for continuity between ABS relay terminals "b" and "f". If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, replace ABS relay.
  4. Apply 12 volts to ABS relay terminal "g" and ground ABS relay terminal "h". See Figure . Check for continuity between ABS relay terminals "b" and "f". Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace ABS relay.
