Load Test

Start engine. Turn A/C-heater blower motor to highest speed. Turn headlights on high beam. Increase engine speed to 2000 RPM. Check battery voltage.

• If voltage is about .5 volt greater than base voltage, charging system is okay.
• If voltage continues to rise, go to HIGH VOLTAGE TEST .
• If voltage is less than about .5 volt greater than base voltage, go to LOW VOLTAGE TEST .
