Cruise Control Switch

Deactivate air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS. Remove driver's side air bag. Disconnect 3-pin cruise control switch harness connector. Check resistance between specified terminals of cruise control switch with switch in specified position. See CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH TEST  table. See Fig 1 . If resistance is not as specified, replace cruise control switch.

CRUISE MAIN A & C Zero Ohms
OFF A & B Zero Ohms
SET/COAST A & B 240 Ohms
RESUME/ACCEL A & B 910 Ohms
