System Tests: Notes

WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation involving driver-side seat components. See AIR BAG RESTRAINTS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Do not apply electrical power to any component in drivers' side seat without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
CAUTION: When battery is disconcerted, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE: After each service or repair procedure has been completed, reconnect all components. Recheck system operation. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  for circuit identification and repair.
