External Controls: Notes

The transaxle external control system consists of the following components:

• shift cable and bracket
• park range switch (part of gearshift lever)
• shift lock actuator
• gearshift lever

The gearshift lever controls the transaxle gear selection through the shift cable. The cable detent and gearshift lever position locking is controlled by the gearshift lever knob.
