Key Interlock Inspection
- Turn the ignition switch to ON position.
- Shift the selector lever to R position.
- Verify that the ignition key cannot be turned to LOCK position.
- Shift the selector lever to P position.
- Verify that the ignition key can be turned to LOCK position.
- If a malfunction is found, perform the instrument cluster input/output check mode. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER INPUT/OUTPUT CHECK MODE .)
