Test L: Radio Interference

Verify Generator Is Source Of Radio Interference  - Start engine. Tune radio to station where interference is present. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect generator 3-pin connector X-102a. See Figure. Start engine. Listen for interference with radio. If interference is still present, problem lies with audio system. Investigate and repair as necessary. If interference is not present, replace generator. See GENERATOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest system for normal operation.
