Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map) Sensor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the fresh-air duct and the air cleaner as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the MAP sensor connector.
  4. Remove the MAP sensor
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
